St. Andrews Church ChoirSt. Andrew’s Church Choir welcomes new members, of any voice range. If you can read music, it’s an advantage, but the main requirements are enjoyment of singing and the ability to sing in tune!  The Choir gets together to lead the worship at the 11.30am service each Sunday morning, under the direction of organist and choirmaster, Rodney Baldwin, as a four-part choir with about 15 voices.

In addition to the hymns, the Choir supports the congregation in singing psalms, canticles, parts of the Communion Service and on relevant Sundays and anthems. Once a year, during Christian Unity Week in January, the Choir sings at Mass in the Carmelite Convent in Seapark and also enjoys the opportunity to travel as a group for a weekend to England or Wales and sing the services in an Anglican cathedral or abbey, combined with a bit of sightseeing and conviviality!

There are many ways to join or get further involved- come by the practice on Sunday mornings at 10.30 or you can talk to Rodney Baldwin after the service.
