Girls have been getting together since 1893 under the banner of the Girls’ Brigade. The Girls’ Brigade organisation is centred around a four star programme- Spiritual, Physical, Education and Service. Each company is attached to a parish and St. Andrew’s (29th Company) has in excess of 50 members. Meetings are staggered out on each Saturday in the Parish Centre from 1.30pm to 4.30pm, with the season ending on the last Saturday in April.
The Girls’ Brigade organisation has been adding value and quality to girl’s lives for over 100 years, and has been an integral part of parish life for many years.
