Finding Meaning in Loss – an Ecumenical Journey for Lent
There will be a Service in St Andrew’s Church at 7.30p.m. marking Ash Wednesday.

On the four Wednesday nights following, we will join with St. Anne’s Church, Portmarnock, Sacred Heart Church, Yellow Walls and St
Sylvester’s Church, Malahide, also at 7.30 p.m., to explore the theme of grief.

The terrible anguish of losing someone we love is something almost every person goes through. Being a Christian does not shield a person from the sadness of bereavement and the sense of loss. It is not wrong to grieve. It is not a sign of physical or spiritual weakness or failure. In these short services, we will explore the hope and comfort our faith provides when someone we love dies.

Dates:
Wednesday 21st February: St Andrew’ Church, Malahide
Wednesday 28th February: St Anne’s Church, Portmarnock
Wednesday 6th March: Sacred Heart Church, Yellow Walls
Wednesday 13th March: St Sylvester’s Church, Malahide

Each service will be followed by refreshments
