Following a meeting with the organ builder in January 2035, he has confirmed that the full restoration programme remains on schedule for completion by Harvest 2025.
As of to date the engraving, restored top keyboard and the new bellows have been completed and restoration of the swell bass note chest is well underway.
The replacement pipes for the Trumpet, Celeste, Diapason treble and Mixture are all selected and along with the existing pipes have been fully repaired and are ready for reinstallation.
After Easter there will be a period of approximately 2-3 weeks were the organ will be out of action to allow dismantling and restoring the Great pipework, changing over the bellows and restoring the bottom keyboard
