Heritage Week at St.Doulagh’s

National Heritage week 2017 starts on Saturday 19th August, with events throughout the country.
 St. Doulagh’s  Church in Balgriffin, Ireland’s oldest stone roofed church still in continuous use as a centre of Christian Worship, will be open with a varied programme as follows:
Saturday  19th       14oo hrs to 1800 hrs     Guided Tours and Stories.
Sunday     21st        1400 hrs to 1800 hrs     Guided Tours and Stories.
Wednesday 24th  1500 hrs to 1800 hrs     Guided Tours and Stories
                                      2000 hrs  Rev. Dr. Adrian Eames will give a talk entitled
——-“Irish Parish Churches in The Mediaeval Ages”.    After the talk there will be time for Q & A.
Saturday  26h.      1500 hrs to 1800 hrs      Guided Tours & Stories
 Sunday  27th.      1500 hrs to 1800 hrs     Guided Tours and Stories.
Admission to all events is free of charge, however donations towards the Restoration Fund Appeal  would be most welcome.
 Parking is available. Bus no’s 42 & 43 stop outside the Church.
