The Christmas Market held in the Parish Centre on Sat.28th November, proved yet again to be an outstanding success on every front.
The final figure raised was approximately €14,000, which was €1,500 up on last year’s figure. Taking into consideration the inclement weather during the day, which undoubtedly affected attendance figures, this was a terrific result. This income represents a major contribution to parish funds, thereby helping us to meet our financial commitments.
The social and community element of the event was very visible, with many people meeting up with friends, old and new.
