St. Doulagh’s Annual Ecumenical Open Air Service of Praise and Thanksgiving will take place on Sunday 29th. May at 3.30pm in St. Doulagh’s Field (beside the church) on the Malahide Road, in Balgriffin.
Music will be provided by the 1st. Dublin Company Boys’ Brigade Brass. Special guests will be The Dublin Conservative Club Male Voice Choir. Our guest preacher will be Most Reverend Michael Jackson, MA.Phd. D.Phil. Archbishop of Dublin & Glendalough.
At this Service the Archbishop will launch our Restoration Appeal Fund with the target of raising  €300, 000 for essential repairs now required to be carried out on this ancient yet vibrant Centre of Christian Worship.
We are asking  you to join us on this special day to ensure that this “Jewel in Fingal’s Crown”, one of our nation’s greatest treasures, still in continuous use and part of our  shared heritage is  preserved for future generations yet to come.
Bring a chair to sit on and an umbrella to shade yourself from the sun.
During the service a collection will be taken up for the Appeal Fund.  Parking will be available in the grounds of St. Doulagh’s Park, opposite the Church. Bus No’s 42 & 43 stop at the church.
